NOTTINGHAM, MD—A coach at Kenwood High School and with the Parkville Recreation Council has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a minor, police announced on Tuesday.
Detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested 59-year-old Michael J. Pusateri on an arrest warrant for rape, assault, sex abuse of a minor, and soliciting child pornography.
In addition to Pusateri’s role as a Parkville Recreation Council softball coach, Pusateri served as a volunteer assistant coach at Kenwood High School and has experience coaching teams in Middle River and the Overlea-Fullerton area.
Given Pusateri’s background in coaching, investigators believe there may be additional victims who have yet to come forward. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit at 410-887-7720.
Pusateri is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on no bond. A bail review hearing is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in Baltimore County.
