COCKEYVILLE, MD—Divers located the body of a swimmer who went missing in Baltimore County over the weekend.
On Tuesday, divers have located the swimmer, who has been identified as 36-year-old Michael Randle.
At just after 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 18 units responded to Beaver Dam Swimming Club, located at 10820 Beaver Dam Road, after receiving reports of a swimmer in the water that had been seen struggling and went under.
Arriving personnel confirmed that one person was missing. Crews searched for Randle Sunday evening and again on Monday before finding his remains on Tuesday.
The Baltimore County Police Department Underwater Recovery Team (URT), along with Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County Fire Departments, Maryland State Police URT, Delaware State Police Marine Team, and a volunteer group using cadaver dogs assisted in Tuesday’s search efforts.
