Wawa celebrates grand opening of new Nottingham location

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The ribbon has been cut and the new Wawa is officially open for business in Nottingham.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday morning at the new location, 8100 Belair Road (21236), led by Wawa General Manager Michael Elliott.

The event also included Councilman Mike Ertel, Wawa Director of Store Operations Amanda Wynne, Wawa Area Manager Steven Gobeil, and the company’s mascot, Wally Goose.

As part of the grand opening, Wawa reintroduced its $5 Big Breakfast Deal, which includes a Sizzli breakfast sandwich, any size hot or iced coffee, and a hash brown.

The Baltimore County Fire Department’s Fullerton Engine and Truck 8 went head-to-head with the Baltimore County Police Department in a fun-filled Hoagies for Heroes competition, each building Wawa’s signature hoagies.

Customers can enjoy any size hot coffee for free through August 17th.
