OWINGS MILLS, MD—A man died in a trench collapse in the Owings Mills area on Tuesday morning.

At just before 8:30 a.m. on July 22, the Baltimore County Fire Department responded to a call for a trench rescue in the 9800-block of Lyons Mills Road (21117).

Firefighters arrived to find the man critically injured. Despite rescue efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries.
