MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Crews are on the scene of a house fire in Middle River.

The blaze broke out at just before 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, in the 6700-block of Mallard Road (21220).

Arriving units found fire in the basement, possibly caused by a lightning strike, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

No injuries have been reported at this time. Motorists should use caution in the area.
