NOTTINGHAM, MD—Customers at the Nottingham Panda Express will have a chance to sing for their supper — or at least a significant discount — this Friday as the restaurant hosts a “Sing For Your Shrimp” karaoke challenge.
The event, celebrating the return of Panda Express’s Wok-Fired Shrimp entrée, invites guests to perform a 30-second song from a curated list of “feel-good hits” for a voucher offering 50% off their order, up to $15. The karaoke challenge will take place outside the restaurant, located at 5351 Campbell Blvd. (21236), from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025.
Participants will also receive a voucher for a free small entrée with a plate purchase, redeemable during a future visit.
The “Sing For Your Shrimp” event is part of Panda Express’s larger “Have You Eaten Yet?” campaign, which features “fun-loving aunties” who use food and music to express care. The restaurant aims to bring that same playful spirit to life, demonstrating how food and a great song can foster connection.
For those unable to attend the karaoke event, the Wok-Fired Shrimp entrée, inspired by Hunan cuisine, is available for purchase. The dish features marinated shrimp, string beans, red bell peppers, and onions, all wok-tossed in a sweet, savory, and spicy sauce with Chiu Chow-style chilis. A “WokSmart” option, it provides 15 grams of protein and 190 calories per serving.
