BCPS celebrates 2025 spring athletics state champions

TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County Public Schools officials are celebrating high school student-athletes recognized as state champions for the 2025 spring season.

“As the spring season concludes, I would like to congratulate all of our hardworking student-athletes on another year of triumphs in both athletics and academics,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Myriam Rogers. “This spring, we are very proud of this group of state champion track and field athletes for displaying the value of discipline and consistency. I’d like to also thank their coaches, athletic trainers, physical education teachers, and families for their invaluable support.”

The following student-athletes were honored:

Michael Sye, director of the BCPS Department of Athletics, added, “Although we always enjoy seeing our Baltimore County student athletes stand on top of the championship podium, we know the impact of interscholastic athletics is measured by much more than trophies and medals. We are proud to continue offering athletics opportunities for BCPS students to gain important life skills and create bonds and memories that they will carry with them throughout their lives. Thank you to our coaches and families for your continued enthusiasm and encouragement.”
