ESSEX, MD—An Essex middle school teacher has been arrested on sex offense charges, police said on Friday.
On May 30, 2025, detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department arrested 61-year-old Roger Myers, of Towson, on multiple sex offense and assault charges which stem from alleged crimes that occurred on the premises of Deep Creek Middle School in Essex.
Myers, who is employed by Baltimore County Public Schools as a physical education teacher, is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
