TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County Public Schools premiered a virtual 51st Annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student Recognition Ceremony on May 14. During the ceremony, 154 seniors – one student from each CTE program at each high school – were recognized as exemplary students.

The ceremony began with remarks from Cindy Jones, chair of the Career and Technical Education Advisory Council (CTEAC) and youth outreach manager for First Financial Federal Credit Union, and MiVida Parham, CTE coordinator. Throughout the video, several students shared testimonials about their experiences in the program and in the workplace.
The ceremony was hosted by CTEAC in conjunction with the Office of CTE and in partnership with The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public Schools. Platinum level sponsors of the event are First Financial Federal Credit Union, Northwest Hospital, APG Federal Credit Union, and CTEAC member L. Craig Holcomb. The silver level sponsor is Virginia McNell, and the bronze level sponsor is Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Baltimore and Marilyn Ryan.
