WHITE MARSH, MD—A new scam has begun circulating in the White Marsh area.

Shoppers report that pay-to-park flyers are appearing on their parked vehicles at THE AVENUE at White Marsh and other nearby shopping centers.

The flyer says that the shopper’s vehicle “has yet to register in our parking system” and encourages the driver to scan a QR code in order to begin the process.
