TOWSON, MD—This week, officials celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Baltimore County Department of Health.
County Executive Johnny Olszewski presented employees with certificates of recognition to mark the occasion.
“(One hundred) years of service to our communities is an incredible milestone that reflects the passion and vigilance our team brings to this job every day,” said County Executive Olszewski. “As we stand today, our ~600 health employees work tirelessly to provide critical services for our communities. Whether we’re preparing for a public health challenge or empowering residents to lead healthy lives, our team is committed and ready for the next 100+ years.”
“Congratulations once again on this incredible milestone and I thank our employees again for everything they do to make Baltimore County a healthier place for everyone,” Olszewski added.
