ESSEX, MD—Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred in Essex over the weekend.

The accident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024,  in the area of Orems Road and Old Orems Road (21221).

Authorities say the crash happened as 41-year-old Donald E. Busick Jr. was attempting to negotiate a left-hand turn onto Orems Road from Old Orems Road. The driver was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

This crash remains under investigation.
