NOTTINGHAM, MD—The woman who was fatally shot in the Nottingham area over the weekend has been identified.

Detectives have identified the adult female found fatally shot in the unit block of Whitelaw Place (21236) on Sunday 27-year-old Shakeia Allen.

Police responded to the scene at around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 21 and found Allen suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  She was subsequently pronounced dead.

Authorities believe this was a targeted incident.  No motive or suspect information have been released by police.
