UPDATE: Two firefighters sustained non-life threatening injuries. No civilians were injured. The Red Cross is assisting displaced residents.

BOWLEYS QUARTERS, MD—Crews are on the scene of an apartment fire in Bowleys Quarters.

The blaze was reported at around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday evening in the unit block of Starwood Court (21220).

Units arrived to find fire showing from the apartment building.  A second alarm has been sounded.

There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use caution in the area.
