UPDATE: Police now say no foul play is suspected in this case.  The incident is being investigated as a suicide.

PARKVILLE, MD—Police are on the scene of a fatal shooting in the Hillendale area.

The incident was at around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning in the 1000-block of Halstead Road (21234).

Authorities say one male victim has been pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding this case.

No additional details have yet been released by police.
