$350K patching project targets MD 7 stretch

EDGEWOOD, MD—The Maryland State Highway Administration will start a $350,000 pavement patching project on Monday, March 11, on a stretch of Philadelphia Road north of Edgewood.

The project will involve the patching of a section of Route 7 between the Seven Trails Drive roundabout and the US 40 (Pulaski Highway) roundabout, and will stretch through Harford County.

The work is expected to start at 9 a.m. and conclude in late March, weather permitting. The contractor for the project is Allan Myers – MD, Inc. of Fallston.

As part of the project, temporary daytime lane closures and flagging operations are expected on the section of MD 7 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The lane closures are due to the direct impact of the patching work on the roadway’s surface.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution when travelling in the work zone for their safety and the safety of those around them.
