Four-car crash on Belair Road in northeast Baltimore leaves 2 dead, 3 injured

BALTIMORE, MD—A child and an adult were killed and three other people were injured in a four-vehicle crash in northeast Baltimore on Wednesday morning, fire officials say.

The crash happened at around 7:30 a.m. in the 3500-block of Belair Road, according to the Baltimore City Fire Department. Officials say that one vehicle struck three others.

One adult and two children were trapped inside one of the cars. One of the children did not survive. The adult was pronounced dead at the scene.  Their identities have not yet been released.

Three other people were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not currently clear.
