DUNDALK, MD—Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed in Dundalk on Tuesday.
At around 2:30 p.m. on February 13, 2024, officers responded to the 1900-block of Graves Court (21222) for a report of a pedestrian crash involving a truck.
Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department determined that this crash occurred as the truck was traveling toward an exit gate at a facility along Graves Court and 21-year-old Maynor A. Ortega-Garcia was attempting to cross in front of the vehicle.
Following the crash, medics transported Ortega-Garcia to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this crash.
