BALTIMORE, MD—Winter weather will return to the Baltimore area on Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of central Maryland that will be in effect from 1 a.m. on Friday until 4 a.m. on Saturday.
Snow will arrive late on Thursday night and into Friday morning. Around 1-3 inches of snow are expected across most of the region. Locally higher amounts of up to 4 inches are possible north of I-70.
The steadiest snow will arrive between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Friday.
Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions. Hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute.
