JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a vehicle stranded in flood water in the Joppa area.

At just after 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, units from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded for a report of a trapped vehicle in the  2600-block of Winters Run Road.

Harford County Department of Emergency Services swift water team is assisting.

Winters Run Road is shut down between Singer Road and Philadelphia Road.

Motorists should avoid the area.
