PERRY HALL, MD—Crews are on the scene of a gas leak in the Perry Hall area.

At just after 10 a.m., the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company said that units were handling an outside natural gas leak in the 4900-block of Silver Spring Road (21128) near Kinder Care Learning Center.

BGE crews are also being deployed.

WMVFC says that the leak occurred after a contractor struck a line while digging.

There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use caution in the area.
