ESSEX, MD—Police in Baltimore County are investigating a shooting in Essex that has left one man dead and another injured.
At approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, officers responded to the unit block of Glenwood Road (21221) in reference to a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located 22-year-old Philip Pasingda, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Pasingda was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers were then notified of a second individual who walked into a local hospital with gunshot wounds. It was determined that both incidents were related and they were together during the shooting.
The second individual is a 19-year-old male who remains in a local hospital in serious condition.
While the search for suspect continues, the Baltimore County Police Department is asking anyone with information about this crime or the person responsible to call homicide detectives by calling 410-307-2020.
