ARBUTUS, MD—Police say a female pedestrian was struck and killed in Baltimore County last week.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, November 2, 2023, officers responded to the area Sulphur Spring Road and Waelchli Avenue in Arbutus following reports of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

Detectives determined that the pedestrian was struck by a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 traveling westbound along Sulphur Spring Road.

The pedestrian, identified as 38-year-old Brittany Dancy, was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the Dodge Ram remained at the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by detectives.
