NOTTINGHAM, MD—A popular Nottingham-area jewelry store will soon be closing its doors.

The Village Gem has announced that it will be closing permanently on December 23, 2023 after more than 22 years in business.

Owners Tommy and Sandy Thobe made the announcement over the weekend, adding that they will be retiring.

“We thank our wonderful and loyal customers for their support and patronage through the years and for loving our store,” reads the official announcement. “We have loved serving our community for the past 22 1/2 years.”

Everything in the store is currently 20 – 50% off through December 23rd.

The Village Gem is located at 4317 Ebenezer Road in the Perry Hall Square shopping center.
