KINGSVILLE, MD—Police are on the scene of a barricade situation in the Kingsville area.

The standoff began at just after 7 p.m. on Sunday on Jerusalem Road (21087), according to Councilman David Marks.

The incident was the result of a wellness check. One individual is inside of the home and tactical units are reportedly on-scene.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
