ESSEX, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department will host a steering wheel lock pop-up event on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, to provide wheel locks to Baltimore County residents who own a Hyundai with a standard “turn-key-to-start” ignition (2011-2022 models).
Locks will also be provided to Kia owners.
The event will be held at Stembridge Community Center, 99 Stemmers Run Rd. (21221). Steering wheel locks will be distributed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until supplies last.
In partnership with Hyundai, the Baltimore County Police Department has distributed over nine-hundred steering wheel locks to community stakeholders.
