OVERLEA, MD—Local officials will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for Baltimore County’s newest skate park later this month.

Ground will officially be broken on Hazelwood Skate Park at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Special guests will include County Executive Johnny Olszewski, Councilman Mike Ertel, and Bob Smith, director of Baltimore County Recreation and Parks.

The new skate park will be located at 4924 Hazelwood Avenue (21206).
