COCKEYSVILLE, MD—A 54-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in the Cockeysville area this week, police announced on Tuesday evening.

Authorities say that, on Monday, September 25, detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department were notified that the driver of a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle, William Chair III, 54, was pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital after being transported to the hospital following a collision.

The crash involving the motorcycle and a 2012 Lexus RX350 happened at around 8:15 a.m. near the Baltimore County Landfill and the intersection of Beaver Dam Road and Resource Road.

The circumstances surrounding this crash remain under investigation.
