TOWSON, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department will be hosting a community hiring event on Saturday.
The event will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at New Town High School in Owings Mills.
During the event, community members can try out the Department’s Virtual Training System, which combines real-world scenarios with computer-generated content. The Baltimore County Police Department obtained the training system through a De-escalation Training Grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Attendees can also take an agility test to see firsthand what it entails. K-9 and TAC members will provide demonstrations, and the Department’s Mobile Application Center will be onsite.
New Town High School is located at 4931 New Town Blvd. in Owings Mills (21117).
