Police investigating several local burglaries, auto thefts; Middle River assault suspect arrested

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an assault and several burglaries and auto thefts that were reported over the past week.

At around 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, an individual stole a silver 2017 Hyundai with MD registration “9DH2722” from the 7400-block of Forrest Avenue in Hillendale (21234).

Sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 11 and 7:30 a.m. on Monday, August 14, an individual broke into a location in the 100-block of Chapeltowne Circle in Perry Hall/Nottingham (21236) and stole property.

At around 7 p.m. on Friday, August 11, an individual stole a maroon 2002 Dodge Ram with MD registration “98L210” from the 1300-block of Spring Avenue in Rosedale (21237).

At just before 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, a known individual assaulted someone in the 3500-block of Dahlia Lane in Middle River (21220).  The suspect was subsequently arrested.

Sometime between 3:15 and 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 13, an individual stole items from the unit block of Waldmann Mill Court in Fullerton/Nottingham (21236).

At around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, an individual broke into a vehicle in the 8300-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237) and stole multiple items before leaving.

At just after 1 a.m. on Monday, August 14, two suspects smashed through the front of the Verizon store located in the 7700-block of Belair Road in Perry Hall/Nottingham (21236) and stole several items before fleeing in a vehicle.
