PERRY HALL, MD—On Wednesday, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks expressed his support for preserving the old Perry Hall School, located at 9317 Belair Road.
“This afternoon, I met with representatives from the Archdiocese of Baltimore regarding the future of the Gribbin Center, the stately brick building at 9317 Belair Road in Perry Hall. This was the old Perry Hall School, sometimes called the Annex, used most recently as a center for supporting those with developmental disabilities,” said Councilman Marks. “It is now for sale. I expressed my strong support for preserving this building, and will be working with the Archdiocese during the upcoming zoning process so it can be used for private uses that are friendly to the community.”
The brick building is one of the oldest structures in Perry Hall, having housed students in the first half of the Twentieth Century and briefly in the late 1970s.
