BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch and a Flood Watch for the Baltimore area.

Both watches will remain in effect until 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, July 25, 2023.

Forecasters say multiple rounds of thunderstorms are possible into the evening hours.  Where multiple thunderstorms occur, rainfall totals of one to three inches are possible in a short period of time.

Some storms could be severe and produce damaging wind gusts, large hail, and isolated flooding.
