BEL AIR, MD—Police are on the scene of a fatal, Sunday afternoon crash in Harford County.

At just after 1:15 p.m. on July 16, 2023, Maryland State Police said they were investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash on Route 1 (Bel Air Bypass) near Rock Spring Road.

All lanes are closed in both directions.

There has been no word on what caused the crash.  Motorists should use an alternate route.
