CARNEY, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Thursday morning electrical fire in the Carney area.

At just before 10:30 a.m. on July 13, 2023, units responded to the pumping station located in the 2000-block of Cromwell Bridge Road (21234).

Arriving units found smoke showing from the station.  BGE and hazmat crews are responding.

Cromwell Bridge Road has been shut down between Cowpens Avenue and Satyr Hill Road.

Motorists should avoid the area.
