PERRY HALL, MD—Police say a crash on Belair Road has left one man dead.

At around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2023, officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Belair Road and Miller Road (21128).

Detectives determined a 2018 Chevrolet Impala was traveling southbound on Belair Road when it crossed both northbound lanes and ran off the roadway into a wooded area. The driver of the Chevrolet, 88-year-old Joseph Sobolewski, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Monday, July 10, 2023.

This crash remains under investigation.
