MIDDLE RIVER, MD—To keep youth engaged over the summer, the Baltimore County Police Department on Tuesday morning hosted its 15th Youth Leadership Academy.

The launch was held at 10 a.m. on June 27, 2023 at Martin State Airport in Middle River.

During the Academy, 27 youth from communities throughout Baltimore County will participate in the week-long program.

Participants will learn leadership, decision-making, teamwork, and communication skills.
