CARNEY, MD—Crews are on the scene of a major water main break in the Carney area.
At just after midnight on Monday, June 26, 2023, the Providence Volunteer Fire Company reported that a 42-inch water main had ruptured at Cromwell Bridge Road and Cowpens Road (21234).
Both roads are flooded and have been shut down.
Motorists should avoid the area and plan on delays during the morning commute.
