NOTTINGHAM, MD—THE AVENUE at White Marsh on Tuesday announced the addition of The Local to the center’s tenant mix.
This will be the second location for this award-winning dining destination.
Executive Chef/Owner Zack Trabbold was recently named Chef of the Year by the Restaurant Association of Maryland and was awarded Best Chef by Baltimore Magazine in 2022 and 2023.
The Local will provide guests with elevated comfort food – sourced locally.
Crediting his amazing staff for their growth, Trabbold shared, “In addition to our impeccable food, service and continued investment in the communities we serve, our people are everything! We pride ourselves on providing a unique dining experience and thinking outside of the box. THE AVENUE at White Marsh is the perfect location for our next endeavor.”
The restaurant setting will include a casual atmosphere with open air seating and outdoor patio, as well as a white linen dining room space. The Local at THE AVENUE is expected to open in early July and celebrate its Grand Opening in August 2023.
The Local is the latest addition to be announced by THE AVENUE at White Marsh – with Silver Diner and World Market scheduled for opening in Spring 2024. It will occupy the space that is being vacated by Wayward Bar & Kitchen and The Curious Oyster.
