ESSEX, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Wednesday morning crash on I-695 in the Essex area.

The crash was reported at around 9:45 a.m. along the outer loop just prior to Route 702.

All outer loop lanes have been shut down.

There has been no word on any injuries.  Motorists should use caution in the area.
