NOTTINGHAM, MD—A busy stretch of Belair Road will soon feel a bit smoother.

The Maryland State Highway Administration will be resurfacing Route 1 from Dunfield Road to Ebenezer Road, according to Councilman David Marks.

The work will take place Sundays through Thursdays, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., through June 30, 2023.

“This is a state project,” said Councilman Marks. “The construction times should minimize disruptions during peak periods of travel.”
