HILLENDALE, MD—Police are investigating after several more vehicle thefts were reported in the Hillendale area this week.
Between 4 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, a 2019 Hyundai Tucson with Maryland registration 8FC1757 was stolen in the unit block of Dowling Circle (21234).
Between 9 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, an individual damaged a 2021 Hyundai while attempting to steal it in the unit block of Dowling Circle (21234).
At just before 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, a 2016 Kia Optima was stolen from the 6600-block of Ellsmere Place (21234) and then recovered in a neighboring jurisdiction.
Between 3 and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, an individual damaged a 2016 Hyundai while attempting to steal it in the 6600-block of Wycombe Way (21234).
Between 7:00 and 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, an individual stole a 2018 white Hyundai Elantra with Maryland registration 3ER1469 in the 6600-block of Wycombe Way (21234).
