NOTTINGHAM, MD—Saturday afternoon’s severe storms have brought down power lines throughout the area, prompting several road closures.

In the Glen Arm area, Fork Road is closed near Harford Road. Harford Road is also closed at Glen Arm Road and New Cut Road due to downed trees and wires.

In Joppa, MD-152 is closed in both directions between Pulaski Highway and Windy Branch Way for trees and wires in the roadway.

BGE is responding and MD-152 is expected to be closed for an extended period.

Motorists should avoid these areas.
