NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an assault, an arson, and an attempted burglary that were reported over the past week.

At around 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, 2023, an individual entered someone’s vehicle in the 8800-block of Fontana Lane in Rosedale (21237) and committed second-degree arson before fleeing.

At just after 1:15 a.m. on Monday, April 17, a first-degree assault occurred in the 9600-block of Pulaski Highway, in Middle River (21220). Officers arrested the suspect.

At just before 2:45 a.m. on Monday, April 17, an individual attempted to break into a location in the 1700-block of Chesaco Avenue in Rosedale (21237). Someone was inside and the suspect fled in a vehicle.
