Police identify suspect in northeast Baltimore quadruple shooting

BALTIMORE, MD—Police are searching for the man who shot four people in northeast Baltimore over the weekend, leaving three dead and one critically injured.

In reference to the shooting that occurred on Saturday, April 1, 2023, in the 2300-block of Woodring Avenue (21234), homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department are searching for 48-year-old Marvelle Antonio Worsley, of the 3200-block of Woodring Avenue.

Worsley shot and killed 69-year-old Darlene Briscoe, 49-year-old Charles Murray, 41-year-old Girard Smith, and critically injured a 31-year-old female, who is in serious but stable condition.

Anyone with information on Marvelle Antonio Worsley’s whereabouts is asked to not to approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous.  Callers should dial 9-1-1 or contact homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
