NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for parts of the Baltimore area.

The advisory covers southern Baltimore County and Baltimore City and will be in effect until 3 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023.

Forecasters say up to one foot of inundation above ground level is possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
