BOWLEYS QUARTERS, MD—Bowleys Quarters Road has been shut down due to a downed tree.

The incident was reported on Friday afternoon after high winds brought down a tree onto nearby power lines.

Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue & Marine advises that Bowleys Quarters Road is closed between Carroll Island Road and Eastern Avenue.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
