BALTIMORE, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the Baltimore area.

The advisory covers most of central Maryland and will be in effect until 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Dense fog has resulted in visibility of one-quarter mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions.

Motorists should reduce speed, use headlights, and leave plenty of stopping distance.
