House fire reported in Joppa

JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Monday afternoon house fire in Joppa.

The fire was reported at just before 2 p.m. in the 2500-block of Sinsko Lane.

At the scene, units reportedly found fire throughout the home that began in the kitchen.

Due to a lack of nearby fire hydrants, water tankers are being deployed to assist, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

There has been no word on any injuries.  Motorists should use caution in the area.
