NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating three local crimes that were reported over the past week.
At 11:15 a.m. on Monday, November 7, an individual or individuals entered a fenced-in solar farm located in the 11600-block of Glen Arm Road in Glen Arm (21057). The suspect(s) broke three solar panels and spray painted miscellaneous images and profanity on a junction box, causing an estimated $8,600 in damages.
Between 3:45 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, an individual broke into a vacant building under construction in the 12500-block of Eastern Avenue in Middle River (21220). Once inside, the suspect broke through a door to a separate business.
At just before 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, officers responded to the 2000-block of Longview Avenue in Rosedale (21237) for a report of an arson. The investigation revealed that a known individual crafted a “Molotov cocktail” and threw it at a vehicle that was parked in front of the residence, ultimately striking the residence.
