PARKVILLE, MD—A Parkville bakery celebrated its grand reopening on Saturday.

Enchanted Cakes and Treats held a big bash on October 29 to mark its reopening after undergoing construction for more than a year, and Guinness World Records was on-hand for the occasion.

Owner Carrie Shelley set out to break the record set by “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro of icing 36 cupcakes in one minute.  Shelley managed to beat the record by icing 47 cupcakes.

The bakery moved down the street and now offers 26 cupcake flavors, cake pops. brownies, and 30 different varieties of milkshakes.

Enchanted Cakes and Treats is located at 7812 Harford Road (21234).
